Statement of Belief

Calvary Creekside has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be comformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations or programs as such, only their over-emphasis of doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

We believe:

The only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
Worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
Worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped.
Worship of God is fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.

Will You Get to Heaven?

Almost anyone you ask will tell you that they are going to heaven or that they hope so. Did you know you can be sure?

First, you must realize that you have personally broken God's rules. Have you lied, stolen, or brought God's name down to level of a curse word? God says that if you have broken even one of His rules, you are not worthy to go to heaven and you must be judged. An eternal God must give an eternal punishment and follow through with it or He is not a righteous judge. But God did make a way to heaven. He gave His only and unique Son to pay for your sins. The punishment you deserve was placed on Him. He died and rose from the dead so that you can live a new life with Him in Heaven.

What must you do to be saved? Turn from your life of sin to the Savior, Jesus Christ, and He will give you everlasting life. Pray to God, agree with Him that you are a sinner, ask for forgiveness, and thank Him for doing so.

God wants you to know Him. Read the Bible daily and obey what you read, praise God and tell Him your concerns in prayer. Fellowship in a church that teaches the Bible verse by verse and tell others what God has done for you.
